Watermelon season!

After a long hot summer day, this salad is refreshingly light and easy to make.

The empty watermelon is packed with herbs and gets a quick Airedale sniff.

Be creative--even the bowl can look like an Airedale

You can click on the recipe and it will enlarge.

How cool it will be if you donate today to help Airedales.

  2. And when it is all over the dogs can eat the watermelon rind! At least my dogs love it. I cut it in small pieces and only give a small amount. The horses get the rest.

  4. I would never have thought to put tomatoes with watermelon! Your carving in an Airedale head is really good.
