Explaining the National Airedale Quilting Bee

Every year since 1999, a group of dedicated quilters and Airedale lovers has gathered in cyberspace to create a very down-to-Earth work of art as a fundraiser for National Airedale Rescue (NAR), the 501c3 corporation which is the Official Treasury of the Airedale Terrier Club of America Rescue & Adoption (ATCA R/A) Committee. Almost all of the materials and every one of the hundreds of hours of labor are volunteered, so that the proceeds of the fundraiser go 100% to NAR.

If you're confused about the Quilting Bee's use of the word 'donate', please read on.
Before 2011, the Airedale Quilting Bee raised funds for National Airedale Rescue through raffles. Due to Federal Internet Gaming laws - we are unable to continue this.
We are attempting to stay within these laws and comply with all the conditions set forth by PayPal. To do so, the 2012 Fundraising project will be through donations.
The donations are in increments and each donation you make (online or by check) will make you eligible for the main quilt and/or one of two bonus quilts. If you're lucky enough to be attending the Montgomery Country Kennel Club show, in-person donations will be accepted starting October 4 and continue until Sunday, October 7, 2012, at MCFC.
